Ah, if we could know the affiliate marketing secrets of the top affiliate marketers in the world, we could rake in a tremendous amount of money and retire to a blissful and easy life.
Not so fast.
I have to be honest, I have never been a fan of the word "secret." I know people use it from a marketing angle, but it's always bothered me.
So why then am I talking about so-called affiliate marketing secrets that can make you much more money? Because to many people, a secret is simply something they don't know yet.
If that's how you are defining it, then I don't have a problem although maybe I would phrase it a bit differently.
In any event, there are certain things that, in my opinion, you must get right if you want to make the most income you can from your time expenditure.
One of them is not trading time for dollars like affiliate marketing is on a par with a job.
Wait a minute, you may be thinking! I have to work to make money as an affiliate, so aren't I trading time for the potential income I may make?
Yes. It's unavoidable that you have to do work.
But the single biggest affiliate marketing secret I can give you, if you're not aware of it already, is something called "work once, get paid forever."
How do you work once and get paid forever you may ask?
Simple. You stick to lifetime income affiliate programs.
You see, these types of programs don't just give you a commission for a sale generated. They literally treat each new customer you bring in as your personal asset (and theirs, too, of course).
Which means that now and forever whenever that customer comes back to reorder more products, you will earn commissions on their repeat purchases.
You've surely heard the line "work smarter, not harder"? Well, that saying couldn't be more true than when it comes to non-lifetime vs lifetime income affiliate programs.
You're going to put in the same amount of effort and skill to get one sale. So why settle for getting paid only once, too?
That's why in my training service, we exclusively focus on affiliate programs that pay for the lifetime value of the customer.
